We enjoyed Canada Day weekend at this park. The canteen served delicious & affordable food. The washrooms were clean & well maintained; Boat rentals were also very affordably priced. My wife & I enjoyed canoeing on the lake. Staff was helpful, courteous, & fun to be around. I would recommend this campground to anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful & restful weekend away from the hustle & bustle of their work week.
Spent Canada Day Long Weekend there with some family had a great weekend. Awesome fireworks were put on by the park. The park is well kept, washrooms very clean, our daughter enjoyed the awesome playground. And best of all the service was amazing keep up the great work! Hope to come back down again this summer!
Its a decent park. Great place for special events. Family functions, Canada day events, etc. Friendly people, campsites are nice. 30 amp and 15 amp hook ups. Clean bathrooms and showers. Paddle boats, fishing, playground, golf coarse, baseball diamond, confectionary.Week days can be quiet at times. Nice run away for some peace and quiet. Rates are reasonable. Come check it out!!
Quiet little lake. Lovely trees and the spot we were in was very large. Had a music fest the weekend we went that had good music. Also had an older park which my kids loved because things like a merry go round cannot be found anywhere. The park also provided sand toys like backhoes to play in the sand pit. How ever i wouldn't go into the water it was quite nasty. And the roads to get there were mostly gravel which wasn't fun to pull a trailer on.
Seemed like a nice place viewing it from the saskachewan parks flyer. However owners seemed greedy to me (charging day use of the park on top of the camping fee, most places is included when staying overnight) checked in 9pm (traveling late) was greeted and told to pick any site I wanted as the owner gestured to a strip of mowed grass directly across from a row of camper trailers who ran their A/C the entire night. Definitely not worth $30 for somewhere to sleep in a tent, not including fire fee.Lake is waist deep, but showers did have hot water.
